In order to strengthen its presence in domestic markets, SpiceJet, India's most preferred airline, with over 13% market share, delivering the lowest air fares with the highest consumer value has launched flights connecting Delhi and Bangalore to Nagpur in Maharashtra.
Nagpur is a major commercial and political centre for Maharashtra, besides being a popular tourist destination and is the 21st destination on the airline's domestic route. Also, upcoming multi-modal international cargo hub and a new airport in the city was another major reason for inclusion of Nagpur in the domestic network. The fare, inclusive of all taxes and charges, begins from Rs 2,585.
