L&T bags orders worth Rs 1015 crore

Larsen & Toubro (L&T) has bagged new orders worth Rs 1015 crore in the building and factories segment during the second quarter of FY2012. Of which, the company has secured order worth Rs 692 crore in the commercial building segment from reputed clients for the development of IT campuses and for the construction of a commercial establishment.

While, the company has won contract worth Rs 323 crore in the building and factories segment for the construction of a residential tower and additional orders from on-going projects in the factories segment.

These orders further augment the order book of the company which has already secured major design and build contracts in the sectors of airports, IT parks, commercial and residential buildings.
