Indian Overseas Bank trades higher on the BSE

Indian Overseas Bank is currently trading at Rs. 16.75, up by 0.75 points or 4.69% from its previous closing of Rs. 16.00 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 16.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 17.15 and Rs. 15.85 respectively. So far 4491746 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 20.90 on 19-Feb-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 7.06 on 20-May-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 17.15 and Rs. 15.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 27449.77 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 95.84%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 1.66% and 2.50% respectively.

Indian Overseas Bank’s (IOB) board is going to issue preference shares to the government for Rs 4,100 crore capital infusion. A meeting of the board of directors for the issue of equity share capital would be held on Monday, May 17, 2021, to issue and allot shares to the government on a preferential basis for the capital infusion of Rs 4,100 crore.
