Tata Motors’ consolidated net loss narrows to Rs 7605 crore in Q4

Tata Motors has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.

The company has reported net profit from continuing operations at Rs 1645.69 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 4871.05 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company reported 2- fold jump at Rs 20305.90 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 10001.79 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to the shareholders at Rs 7605.40 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net loss of Rs 9894.25 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 41.65% at Rs 89319.34 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 63057.43 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported net loss from continuing operations at Rs 2395.44 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 7289.63 crore for the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 5.66% at Rs 47874.43 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 45311.22 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported net loss attributed to the shareholders at Rs 13461.39 crore as compared to net loss of Rs 12070.85 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 4.39% at Rs 252437.94 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 264041.12 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
