Asian markets ended mostly lower on Thursday, tracking weak finish at wall street overnight after minutes from the last Federal Reserve policy meeting hinted at the possible tapering of asset sales if the US economic recovery continues to gain momentum. Moreover, worries about fresh Covid-19 curbs in Asia also weighed on market sentiments. Chinese shares ended flat after China’s central bank, PBoC kept its benchmark lending rate for corporate and household loans unchanged for the 13th straight month at its May fixing, in line with expectations. However, Japanese shares rose marginally after data showed country's exports grew the most since 2010 in April, while core machinery orders rose 3.7 percent in March from the previous month.
