Sona Koyo Steering Systems has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.
The company has reported 29.73% fall in its net profit at Rs 4.75 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 6.76 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has decreased by 8.44% at Rs 248.38 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 271.27 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
Sona Koyo Steering Systems started operations as a supplier of steering systems to Maruti Suzuki India (MSIL), in technical and financial collaboration with JTEKT Corporation (Japan) along with equity participation by MSIL. The company’s product portfolio comprises of steering systems which include manual and power steering systems and driveline products which include case differentials, axle components and propeller shafts.
