TCS, Strides Pharma Science and Ashoka Buildcon to see some action today

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has completed the acquisition of GE's stake in Tata Consultancy Services Saudi Arabia for $12,471 (about Rs 9.13 lakh). In September 2013, TCS had announced the creation of an all-women business process services centre in Riyadh (Saudi Arabia) in partnership with GE. In January, TCS had said it will assume full responsibility of the centre upon completion of the required governance and business changes to effect this transition. This, it had said, would secure the centre's viability in the longer term and allow it to continue to serve as a source of opportunity and skills development for women in the country.

Strides Pharma Science and Taiwan-based specialty pharmaceutical firm TLC have partnered to launch Liposomal Amphotericin B, a drug used in the treatment of mucormycosis (black fungus), in India. The Central Drugs Standard Control Organization (CDSCO) has approved TLC's new drug application (NDA) of Amphotericin B Liposome for Injection 50mg in India for immediate importation per approved usage and indication.

Ashoka Buildcon has received Letter of Acceptance from Fahi Dhiriulhun Corporation, a State-owned company of the Government of the Republic of the Maldives, for the Project viz. 'Design and Construction of 2000 Social Housing Units in Hulhumale', Republic of Maldives' 'Project) on Engineering, Procurement and Construction (EPC) basis. The total value for this project is estimated to be around $140.33 Million (Rs 1018.36 crore).

Infibeam Avenues has received approval to make further investment in Avenues Payments India. The objective of investment is increasing the cross-border E-commerce Business transactions and making the remittance business cash free through fin-tech solutions.

Innovators Facade Systems has received work order of approximately Rs 45 crore for design, supply, fabrication and installation of facade work in Mumbai from Glider Buildcon Realtors.

Thirumalai Chemicals is planning to execute a project to manufacture 180,000 tons per year of Phthalic Anhydride (PA) and 30,000 tons per year of Fine & Specialty Chemicals, at its existing site at Dahej, Gujarat, and Western India - to be implemented in two successive phases. The company expects to bring the first of these two phases on-stream in about 2 years after receipt of all needed approvals.

NLC India has raised Rs 300 crore through Commercial Paper and allotted 6000 Nos. of Commercial Paper of a face value of Rs 5 lakh each on May 27, 2021.
