Glenmark Pharmaceuticals, Jubilant Pharmova and JB Chemicals to see some action today

Glenmark Pharmaceuticals (Glenmark) has launched Rufinamide Tablets USP, 200 mg and 400 mg, a therapeutic equivalent of Banzel Tablets, 200 mg and 400 mg of Eisai, Inc. Glenmark was one of the first ANDA applicants to submit a substantially complete ANDA for Rufinamide Tablets USP, 200 mg and 400 mg, with a paragraph IV certification and received final approval on May 16, 2016.

Jubilant Pharma, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Jubilant Pharmova is planning to invest $92 Million to expand sterile injectable manufacturing capacity at its Spokane site in Washington, US. This investment is being made to set up a high speed 400 vials a minute injectable fill line with isolator technology, which will enhance the Spokane facility’s capacity by 50%. This expansion will also include two 300 sq feet Lyophilizers. This expansion will be spread over 50,000 sq feet at the Spokane facility and will be commercially operational by the end CY24.

JB Chemicals & Pharmaceuticals has launched medicated nicotine lozenges that will help reduce the urge to consume or smoke tobacco. On the occasion of 'World No Tobacco Day', the drug maker has also launched an Artificial Intelligence-enabled chatbot 'Dr Will', which would encourage and support tobacco smokers to quit smoking.

AMJ Land Holdings has received approval for the sale of its entire shareholding in GCORP AMJ Land Township, a joint venture of the company in view of current business situation, subject to execution of necessary agreement and other documents. After execution of aforesaid agreement, the GCORP AMJ Land Township will cease to be the company's joint venture company.

As part of these measures, the company will provide life insurance cover for the next three years and education support for two children up to 12th grade. Besides, SKF will also provide one-time financial assistance of Rs 5 lakh to the dependents of the blue-collar employee.
