Orient Abrasives’ board has approved the acquisition of 10,000 equity shares of Orient Advanced Materials (formerly known as KMM Consultancy) (OAMPL) from the existing shareholders of OAMPL, thereby making it a wholly-owned subsidiary of the company. ln order to expand its business, the company is in process of developing a separate product line, hence acquired OAMPL which is a mineral based company. The Executive Committee of Board of Directors of the company at its meeting held on June 5, 2021 has approved the same.
Orient Abrasives was set up in technical collaboration with Karborundum, Bentueky, Czechoslovakia by the Rajgarhia group of industries as a venture to manufacture Calcined and Fused Alumina products.
