MRF reports 51% fall in Q4 consolidated net profit

MRF has reported results for fourth quarter and year ended March 31, 2021.

The company has reported a fall of 52.61% in its net profit from continuing operations at Rs 317.26 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 669.47 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 30.18% at Rs 4,794.21 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 3,682.66 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported 51.08% fall in its net profit from continuing operations at Rs 332.15 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 679.02 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 30.14% at Rs 4,874.20 crore for Q4FY21 as compared Rs 3,745.21 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, the company has reported a fall of 10.46% in its net profit from continuing operations at Rs 1,249.06 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 1,394.98 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 1.18% at Rs 16,128.58 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 16,321.64 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.

For the year ended March 31, 2021, on the consolidated basis, the company has reported a fall of 10.21% in its net profit from continuing operations at Rs 1,277.07 crore as compared to net profit of Rs 1,422.57 crore for the previous year. Total income of the company decreased by 1.21% at Rs 16,373.13 crore for year under review as compared to Rs 16,574.74 crore for year ended March 31, 2020.
