Indian Hotels Company trades higher on signing agreement with Bengaluru Airport City

Indian Hotels Company is currently trading at Rs. 137.70, up by 2.30 points or 1.70% from its previous closing of Rs. 135.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 136.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 137.90 and Rs. 135.60 respectively. So far 197724 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 144.25 on 01-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 76.15 on 31-Jul-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 144.00 and Rs. 132.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 16376.09 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 40.75%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 41.43% and 17.81% respectively.

Indian Hotels Company (IHCL) has signed an agreement with Bengaluru Airport City (BACL) for a 775-room hotel at Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (BLR Airport). It will be a combination of a 450-room'Vivanta' and a 325-room ginger hotel. This will be a management contract with BACL to operate another hotel at BLR Airport where IHCL already operates Taj in Bangalore.

Indian Hotels Company and its subsidiaries are collectively known as Taj Hotels Resorts and Palaces and recognized as one of Asia's largest and finest hotel company. It operates in the luxury, premium, midmarket and value segments of the market.
