CSB Bank reports 14% rise in total deposits in Q1

CSB Bank has reported total deposits of Rs 18652.80 crore ((Provisional) as of June 30, 2021 (Q1FY22), up 14.17% Year On Year (YoY) from Rs 16337.95 crore as of June 30, 2020 and dropped by 2.54% Quarter on Quarter (QoQ) from Rs 19140.04 crore as of March 31, 2021.

CASA stood at Rs 6171.71 crore as of June 30, 2021 up 29.23% YoY form Rs 4775.63 crore as of June 30, 2020 and marginally up QoQ from Rs 6161.80 crore as of March 31, 2021. Term Deposits were higher 7.95% YoY from Rs 11562.32 crore as of June 30, 2020 to Rs 12481.10 crore as of June 30, 2021.

Gross Advances were at Rs 14146.00 crore as of June 30, 2021, up 23.71% YoY from Rs. 11434.65 crores as of June 30, 2020 and lower by 3.52% from Rs 14663.12 crore as of March 31, 2021.

Catholic Syrian Bank (CSB Bank) is one of the oldest private sector banks in India. Under its SME banking business, the bank caters to financial institutions, agriculture and allied businesses, and vendors and dealers of corporates.
