Bandhan Bank slips as RBI imposes penalty of Rs 1 crore

Bandhan Bank is currently trading at Rs. 320.05, down by 0.55 points or 0.17% from its previous closing of Rs. 320.60 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 320.60 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 325.15 and Rs. 319.60 respectively. So far 201863 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 430.25 on 11-Dec-2020 and a 52 week low of Rs. 251.40 on 25-Sep-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 327.00 and Rs. 318.05 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 51630.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 39.99%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.82% and 23.19% respectively.

Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has imposed a penalty of Rs 1 crore on the Bandhan Bank, on account of contravention of directions contained in Circulars on 'Lending to Non-Banking Financial Companies (NBFCs)' and 'Bank Finance to NBFCs'.

Bandhan Bank is an Indian banking and financial services company headquartered in Kolkata, West Bengal. Bandhan, which started as a micro-finance company in 2001, received banking licence by Reserve Bank of India in 2014.
