Ujaas Energy has informed that it filed under Section 60 (5) of the IB Code by the RP seeking exclusion of Lockdown period from 10.04.2021 to 14.06.2021. Incidentally, 270 days of CIRP period has expired on 14.06.2021. Hence, this application seeking exclusion of CIRP period and other suitable relief. As per proviso 3 of Section 12 of the IB Code, the total period of CIRP is described as 330 days and in the present case 60 more days are available to conduct CIRP. Ld. Counsel further states that two Resolution Plans are being considered by the CoC. Let the CIRP be completed within 330 days. The CoC may apply for extension beyond 330 days, if required.
