Reliance Power jumps on getting shareholders' nod to issue of shares, warrants worth Rs 1,325 crore to RInfra

Reliance Power is currently trading at Rs. 13.54, up by 0.14 points or 1.04% from its previous closing of Rs. 13.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 13.37 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 13.87 and Rs. 13.30 respectively. So far 1716244 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'T ' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 18.36 on 23-Jun-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 2.42 on 22-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 14.70 and Rs. 12.50 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 3798.14 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 9.06%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 6.40% and 84.52% respectively.

Reliance Power has received shareholders' approval to issue shares and warrants worth Rs 1,325 crore to its promoter firm Reliance Infrastructure on preferential basis. The issue of shares and warrants to RInfra is aimed at reducing Reliance Power's standalone debt by Rs 1,325 crore.
