South Indian Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2021.
The bank has reported 87.37% fall in its net profit of Rs 10.31 crore for the quarter under review as against net profit of Rs 81.65 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank decreased 3.93% at Rs 2086.47 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 2171.86 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
The Bank’s gross NPA for the April-June quarter of the current fiscal increased to 8.02%, as compared to 4.93% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 5.05% in Q1FY22.
