Gujarat State Petronet has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.

The company has reported 2.71% rise in its net profit at Rs 132.80 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 129.30 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased marginally by 0.24% at Rs 295.77 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 295.06 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.

Gujarat State Petronet is a subsidiary Gujarat State Petroleum Corporation (GSPC). It has taken initiative in developing energy transportation infrastructure in Gujarat and connecting major natural gas supply sources and demand markets.
