Punjab & Sind Bank has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2021.

The bank has reported net profit of Rs 173.85 crore for the quarter under review as against net loss of Rs 116.89 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank increased 4.36% at Rs 2039.61 crore for Q1FY22 as compared Rs 1954.39 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the April- June quarter of the current fiscal improved to 13.33%, as compared to 14.34% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 3.61% in Q1FY22.
