Balaji Amines jumps on getting nod to set up new plant for manufacturing Acetonitrile

Balaji Amines is currently trading at Rs. 3442.80, up by 36.40 points or 1.07% from its previous closing of Rs. 3406.40 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 3419.80 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 3475.00 and Rs. 3410.35 respectively. So far 2907 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 3977.00 on 03-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 600.05 on 05-Aug-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 3977.00 and Rs. 3181.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 11153.88 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 53.67%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 2.65% and 43.68% respectively.

Balaji Amines has received an approval for setting up of new plant for manufacture of Acetonitrile. The existing capacity of Acetonitrile is 9000 TPA and the current capacity utilization is 60%. The company will be setting up new capacity of 16500 TPA at an outlay of Rs. 70 to 80 crore which will be funded through internal accruals. The project will be commissioned in the next 12 to 18 months. The Board of Directors of the company at their Meeting held on August 02, 2021 has approved the same.

Balaji Amines is engaged in the business of manufacture and sale of Speciality Chemicals, Aliphatic Amines and derivatives.
