CESC's wholly owned subsidiary--Eminent Electricity Distribution has emerged as highest bidder for acquiring 100% stake in power distribution company for Union Territory of Chandigarh. The said acquisition for Distribution license is subject to further formalities as prescribed under the tender documents including receipt of letter of intent.
CESC is engaged in power generation and distribution in state of West Bengal. The company is a fully integrated power utility with its operation spanning the entire value chain right from mining coal, generating power and distribution of power.
