Tata Motors has joined hand with Common Service Centre Scheme (CSC) e-Governance Services India in order to expand sales of its commercial vehicles in the rural areas. With the onset of the digital age, this partnership with CSC would play a large role in enabling those living in villages with the power of choice, in opting for a business proposition through our range of commercial vehicles.

Maruti Suzuki India’s total production in July increased by 58 per cent on a yearly basis to 1,70,719 units. The company had produced a total of 1,07,687 units in the year-ago period.

Dilip Buildcon has received approval from board of directors to acquire 100% equity shares of DBL Infra Assets. By the virtue of the said acquisition DBL Infra Assets has become a wholly owned subsidiary of the company. Main objects of the DBL Infra Assets are within the main line business of the Dilip Buildcon.

Emami has acquired additional 6840 shares of Helios Lifestyle (Helios) from an existing shareholder. The said acquisition has increased the company’s stake in Helios from 45.96% to 48.49%.

Industry body CII has partnered with ITC Hotels to launch vocational education training by Switzerland-based hotel school EHL in the hospitality sector. In phase one, the diploma course will be offered to over 240 students at four ITC Hotels across four distinct regions - ITC Maurya, New Delhi; ITC Sonar, Kolkata; ITC Maratha, Mumbai and ITC Grand Chola, Chennai. Phase two will see further expansion of the training programme to many more ITC Hotels properties in the country.

Britannia Industries has re-launched its Milk Bikis Classic in Tamil Nadu, following an 'overwhelming' demand from consumers. The Milk Bikis Classic, a cult favourite biscuit of the 80s and 90s generation, is re-launched in its original avatar, flowery generation order design, Britannia embossed on the centre of the biscuit, with the familiar bottle on the pack and that same milky taste.
