Cummins India rises on reporting above 4-fold jump in Q1 consolidated net profit

Cummins India is currently trading at Rs. 953.10, up by 8.35 points or 0.88% from its previous closing of Rs. 944.75 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 938.50 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 970.95 and Rs. 919.00 respectively. So far 156168 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 970.95 on 12-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 413.95 on 12-Aug-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 970.95 and Rs. 896.85 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 26304.89 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 51.00%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.28% and 12.72% respectively.

Cummins India has reported results for first quarter ended June 30, 2021.

The company has reported above 4-fold jump in its net profit at Rs 236.62 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 52.56 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company reported 2-fold jump at Rs 1239.37 crore for Q1FY22 as compared to Rs 600.37 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported above 4-fold jump in its net profit attributed to the owners at Rs 246.94 crore for the quarter under review as compared to net profit of Rs 53.02 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company reported 2-fold jump at Rs 1249.82 crore for Q1FY22 as compared to Rs 599.53 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
