Cummins India reports 25% rise in Q2 net profit

Cummins India has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2012.

The company has reported 25.17% rise in its net profit at Rs 160.94 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2012 as compared to Rs 128.58 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased marginally by 1.29% at Rs 1120.72 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 1106.49 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.

Cummins India is leading manufacturer of diesel and a subsidiary of Cummins Inc USA, the world’s largest independent diesel engine designer and manufacturer of engines above 200 HP.
