Tata Power gains after its arm receives NoA to build 50MWp Solar PV Plant

Tata Power Company is currently trading at Rs. 133.10, up by 0.55 points or 0.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 132.55 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 132.75 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 134.10 and Rs. 131.70 respectively. So far 695317 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 137.90 on 09-Aug-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 50.00 on 24-Sep-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 137.90 and Rs. 126.55 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 42577.90 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 46.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 28.42% and 24.73% respectively.

Tata Power Solar, India’s largest solar energy company, and Tata Power’s wholly-owned subsidiary has received a “Notice of Award” (NoA) to build 50MWp Solar PV Plant with 50MWh Battery Energy Storage System (BESS)  project at Phyang village in Leh, Ladakh. The order value of the project is Rs 386 crore. The commercial operation date for this project is set for March 2023.
