Jindal Steel & Power has reported results for second ended September 30, 2012.
The company has reported 47.10% rise in its net profit at Rs 582.21 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 395.79 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 7.63% at Rs 3596.38 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 3341.53 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
On consolidated basis, the company has reported 2.50% rise in its net profit at Rs 897.28 crore for the quarter as compared to Rs 875.37 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the company has increased by 6.41% at Rs 4733.81 crore for quarter under review as compared to Rs 4448.47 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2011.
