With a view to expand NHPC’s Energy Portfolio in Hydroelectric Power Projects development & acquisition of assets through NCLT, NHPC has signed an MoU with PFC.
As per MoU, PFC shall provide financial assistance to the projects being developed/ to be developed by NHPC (particularly projects under Joint Venture route) and shall also support NHPC in participation of various bids by providing financial commitment required for taking over the stressed Projects, on case to case basis.
NHPC is engaged in electric power generation by hydroelectric power plants. The company is also engaged in contracts, project management and consultancy works.
