Sterling and Wilson Solar jumps as its arm acquires additional stake in Sterling and Wilson Middle East Solar Energy

Sterling and Wilson Solar is currently trading at Rs. 295.35, up by 11.25 points or 3.96% from its previous closing of Rs. 284.10 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 282.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 297.35 and Rs. 279.00 respectively. So far 157506 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 1 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 343.50 on 09-Apr-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 187.25 on 22-Sep-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 297.35 and Rs. 248.35 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4733.83 crore.

Sterling and Wilson Solar’s wholly owned subsidiary -- Sterling and Wilson International Solar FZCO (SWFZCO) has increased its shareholding in Sterling and Wilson Middle East Solar Energy (SWME Solar) from 147 fully paid Equity Shares of United Arab Emirates dirham 1,000 representing 49% to 300 fully paid up Equity Shares of United Arab Emirates dirham 1,000 representing 100% of shareholding on August 24, 2021, consequent to which SWME Solar is now a wholly owned subsidiary of SWFZCO.

Sterling & Wilson Solar is engaged in the business of construction and maintenance of power plants. The company's products and services range include Contract activities and Operation Services.
