New Delhi Television has informed that Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy, the Founders of New Delhi Television (NDTV), have informed NDTV as under: The actions of Securities & Exchange Board of India (SEBI) to pursue proceedings under Section 15G(i) of the SEBI Act, 1992 are the subject matter of miscellaneous applications filed by each Prannoy Roy and Radhika Roy at the Hon’ble Supreme Court seeking a direction that the SEBI should not adopt precipitative steps in relation to the Show Cause Notices dated January 10, 2019 alleging violation of Regulation 3(i) and Regulation 4 of SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 1992 read with Regulation 12 of SEBI (Prohibition of Insider Trading) Regulations, 2015 and Section 12A(d) and (e) of the SEBI Act, 1992. The applications seek to extend the orders of the Hon’ble Supreme Court dated February 15, 2021 to the Show Cause Notices dated January 10, 2019.
