Bank Of India has informed that in the exercise of power conferred by the provision to clause (a) of subclause (3) of Section 9 of the Banking Companies (Acquisition and Transfer of Undertakings) Act, 1970, the 'Central Government vide notification No. 4/2/2021. BO.I dated 26.08.2021 extended the term of office of P R Rajagopal, Executive Director of Bank for a period of two years beyond his currently notified term which expires on 28.02.2022, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
