HCL Technologies, Tata Motors and Greaves Cotton to see some action today

HCL Technologies (HCL) and HANCOM Inc., one of the leading South Korean software companies, have signed a strategic partnership to share advanced software technology solutions and establish a mutual bridgehead for overseas expansion. HCL will support training for software development at HANCOM's R&D center in India, which was established in 2016. HCL will also share its development studio and provide HR support to meet demand and development capacity at the R&D center.

Tata Motors has launched CNG variant of its most iconic commercial vehicle -- the Tata 407. Tapping into the benefits of CNG, the vehicle offers profits of up to 35% over the diesel variant. The all-new Tata 407 CNG has been designed to live up to its reputation as the ‘non-stop profit machine’, continuing to offer best-in-class performance and reliability, and adding even more value to the proposition with lower TCO.

Greaves Cotton has launched its first multi-brand EV retail store 'AutoEVmart' in Bengaluru, and it will set up similar outlets in other cities in a phase-wise manner. Greaves mobility business comprises Ampere Electric, which caters to both two-wheeler (e-scooters) and three-wheeler (e-rickshaw, e-auto and e-loader) segments. Within e-three wheelers, the company has a presence in e-rickshaws under the ELE brand and e-autos under the MLR brand. Between Ampere Electric and Greaves, there are more than 600 retail stores in over 400 cities. Through this dedicated EV store, spread over 8,000 sq feet space.

Ashoka Buildcon has received Letter of Acceptance (LoA) from National Highways & Infrastructure Development Corporation (NHIDCL) in respect of the Project viz. 'Request for Proposal for Widening/Improvement to 4 Lane with Paved Shoulder from KM 113+300 to Km 146+250 (Design Chainage 113+830 to 145+712) of Kwaram Taro Village - Dillai Section (Package-6) of NH 29 in the state of Assam on EPC mode'. The accepted price of the Project is Rs 282.11 crore excluding applicable GST.

KNR Constructions has received Letter of Acceptance for HGCL - Widening of Existing Service roads from Nanakramguda to TSPA and Narsingi to Kollur and BT Overlay of Bitumen pavement from Gachibowli to Shamshabad of Outer Ring Road, Hyderabad, in the state of Telangana, worth Rs 312.79 crore excluding GST on Bill of Quantities basis. The said project is to be completed within a period of 15 months from the date of signing of Agreement.

Shyam Metalics And Energy has signed leading Bollywood superstar Salman Khan as the brand ambassador for endorsing its S-E-L TMT rebars. The idea of roping in Salman Khan to promote the TMT business is part of the company's four-fold expansion plan in metal capacity comprising intermediate and final products.

Action Construction Equipment has been declared L1 for supply of 482 numbers Multi-Purpose Tractors (MPT 4X4) along with special attachments from Directorate General of Capability Development, Ministry of Defence (Army). The Said Multi-Purpose Tractors are powered by minimum 72hp engine with 4X4 configuration and equipped with proven aggregates integrated by latest technology.
