Aster DM Healthcare’s material subsidiary-- Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences has extended its facility and launched Aster MIMS Women and Children Block, at Aster MIMS Kottakal on September 13, 2021. Aster MIMS Women and Children Block has 75 beds with state-of-the-art facilities located at Changuvetty, Kottakal P.O Malappuram, Kerala. This shall be first exclusive and dedicated Women and Children Hospital of Aster in Kerala.
An investment of Rs. 19.5 crore have been invested through internal accruals of Malabar Institute of Medical Sciences Ltd. The new block is built on a leasehold land located adjacent to the main hospital block. Aster MIMS Kottakal, capacity utilization is above 75% during the last 24 months and above 83% in the last 8 months.
