Hindustan Zinc rises as its mined metal production rises 4% in Q2

Hindustan Zinc is currently trading at Rs. 312.65, up by 0.85 points or 0.27% from its previous closing of Rs. 311.80 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 312.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 315.75 and Rs. 311.70 respectively. So far 123439 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 2 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 362.40 on 19-May-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 197.55 on 12-Oct-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 324.30 and Rs. 305.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 132167.98 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 64.92%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.17% and 1.91 % respectively.

Hindustan Zinc’s mined metal production increased by 4 per cent to 2,48,000 tonnes in the second quarter of the ongoing fiscal (Q2). The company's mined metal production was at 2,38,000 tonnes in the year-ago period.

Hindustan Zinc, the world’s second biggest zinc producer, operates the world’s third largest open-pit mine, and world’s largest Zinc Mine in Rampura Agucha, Rajasthan.
