Asian Markets trade mostly higher in early deals on Friday

Most of the Asian equity benchmarks traded higher in early deals on Friday, kindled by the optimism over positive US job weekly data, unfolding debt crisis with a short term fix and soaring crude oil rates. Technological were mostly higher and banking sector is also advancing. Japan’s Nikkei is trading higher extending previous session’s gain with the positive global indices trend. Shanghai which resumed trading after a long weekend also advanced in the session. Meanwhile, Wall Street settled higher overnight with the positive Dow, Nasdaq and S&P 500. The major European markets also ended higher for the day. Among the Asian stocks, Japan, Singapore, Indonesia, and Malaysia are trading in green. Bucking the trend, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan are trading lower.

Nikkei 225 up by 477.29 points or 1.72% to 28,155.50, Straight times rose by 3.43 points or 0.11% to 3,104.58, Jakarta Composite is lifted by 53.23 points or 0.83% to 6,469.63 and FTSE Bursa Malaysia KLCI advanced by 3.43 points or 0.22% to 1,564.72.

On the flip side, Hang Seng down by 65.27 points or 0.26% to 24,636.46, Taiwan Weighted dipped by 77.68 points or 0.46% to 16,636.18, and KOSPI slipped by 10.39 points or 0.35% to 2,949.07.
