L&T’s subsidiary bags orders worth Rs 2503 crore across various business segments

Larsen and Toubro (L&T) Construction, the wholly owned subsidiary of L&T, has won new orders worth Rs 2503 crore across various business segments. The infrastructure IC of L&T Construction has secured prestigious order, valued at Rs 1985 crore from GVK project and Technical services. The company will execute major portion of worksfor850 MW Ratle Hydroelectric Power Project located on the Chenab in the Kishtwar district of Jammu & Kashmir. The Company has received ‘Limited Notice to Proceed’ to commence operations.

Meanwhile, the Buildings & Factories IC, has bagged new orders worth Rs397 crore for the construction of a commercial building in Mumbai, including additional orders from various ongoing projects. In yet another development, the Water &Effluent Treatment business has received an order worth Rs121 crore from the Public Health Engineering Department - Government of Rajasthan for water supply in Fatehpur – Laxmangarh, Rajasthan.
