Indraprastha Gas surges on commissioning country’s first of its kind CNG station

Indraprastha Gas is currently trading at Rs 264.00, up by 2.95 points or 1.13% from its previous closing of Rs 261.05 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs 266.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs 268.90 and Rs 262.20 respectively. So far 146138 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs 412.20 on 24-Nov-2011 and a 52 week low of Rs 170.00 on 10-Apr-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 268.90 and Rs 255.00 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 3654.70 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 45.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 33.93% and 21.07% respectively.

Indraprastha Gas (IGL) has commissioned the country’s first CNG station modeled on the concept of having Equipment on Canopy in Delhi. This is first of its kind CNG Station in India where all CNG equipments are installed on RCC canopy. With the help of all equipment on the canopy, nearly 40 percent of the plot area has been saved, which is being utilised for CNG supply.

The company’s core business is to distribute CNG and PNG in Delhi. It has presence in areas including Sarita Vihar, Jasola, Dwarka , Rohini, Pitampura, Janakpuri, Maya Enclave, Saket, Hauz Khas, Paschim Vihar, Vikaspuri, Dilshad Garden and many more.
