Talwalkars Better Value Fitness has closed down Fit & Active gyms because of steep rentals at malls. In 2007, Mumbai-based health club company formed equal joint venture with Future Group to launch Fit & Active centers at malls. At present, the legal status of the entity is uncertain with Future Group undergoing a restructuring exercise, there is a slim chance that the group will revive the business with the company.
