South Indian Bank reports net loss of Rs 187 crore in Q2FY22

The South Indian Bank has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2021.

The bank has reported net loss of Rs 187.06 crore for the quarter under review against net profit of Rs 65.09 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. Total income of the bank decreased by 17.47% at Rs 1,746.03 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 2115.71 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

The Bank’s gross NPA for the July-September quarter of the current fiscal increased to 6.65%, as compared to 4.87% in the same quarter of the previous year. Besides, Bank’s Net NPA stood at 3.85% in Q2FY22.
