Ceat reports 77% fall in Q2 consolidated net profit

Ceat has reported results for second quarter ended September 30, 2021.

The company has reported a fall of 78.87% in its net profit at Rs 35.96 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 170.15 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 23.64% at Rs 2434.93 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 1969.35 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.

On the consolidated basis, the company has reported fall of 76.92% in its net profit attributable to owners at Rs 41.98 crore for the quarter under review as compared to Rs 181.86 crore for the same quarter in the previous year. However, total income of the company increased by 23.83% at Rs 2454.52 crore for Q2FY22 as compared Rs 1982.24 crore for the corresponding quarter previous year.
