Indian Bank trades in green on the BSE

Indian Bank is currently trading at Rs. 173.55, up by 1.35 points or 0.78% from its previous closing of Rs. 172.20 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 175.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 177.95 and Rs. 172.30 respectively. So far 250575 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 194.80 on 26-Oct-2021 and a 52 week low of Rs. 56.55 on 04-Nov-2020.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs 192.75 and Rs. 155.75 respectively. The current market
cap of the company is Rs. 21757.86 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 79.86%, while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 12.94% and 7.20% respectively.

Indian Bank has reported over Rs 266 crore worth of fraud to the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), relating to three NPA accounts. The bank has declared M P Border Checkpost Development Company as fraud with an outstanding of Rs 166.89 crore; Pune Sholapur Road Development (Rs 72.76 crore) and SONAC (Rs 27.08 crore). The frauds have been categorised as diversion of funds in all the three cases.

Indian Bank was established as a part of the Swadeshi movement. The bank provides a wide spectrum of banking products and services.
