NTPC to start commercial operation of Unit-1 of Barh Super Thermal Power Station

NTPC has planned to start commercial operation of Unit-1 (660 MW) of Barh Super Thermal Power Station Stage-I (3x660 MW) with effect from November 12, 2021.

With this, the commercial capacity of NTPC and NTPC group will become 54232.5 MW and 67657.5 MW respectively.

NTPC is the largest power utility company in India and has presence in Coal, Gas, Solar PV, Hydro and Wind Power Generation and Coal Mining.
