Fire broke out at Filatex India’s POY Plant in Dadra, Union Territory of Dadra & Nagar Haveli on November 27, 2012 in morning resulting in disruption of operations. There has been no injury or loss of life to either the company’s customers or employees.
The company is in the process of ascertaining the loss caused by the fire and arranging insurance survey.
Filatex India is one of the pioneers in manufacturing Monofilament Yarns for Zippers, Tooth Brush Bristles, Velcro, Magic Fasteners and Forming Fabrics in India. All these products are import substitutes and are helping the country in saving precious foreign exchange.
