Coal India, PTC India and Ashok Leyland to see some action today

Coal India (CIL) has allocated 72.1% higher quantity of coal at 17.34 million tonnes under the special forward e-auction scheme to the power sector during the April-September period. The state-owned company had allocated 10.07 Million Tonnes (MT) of coal under the scheme in the year-ago period.

PTC India has bagged orders from the Bureau of Energy Efficiency (BEE) for their flagship Perform Achieve & Trade (PAT) scheme in eight states / UTs, the leading power trading solutions & consulting services provider said in a statement. Besides, the company has won consultancy assignments on project management & impact assessment of energy efficiency projects from Belgavi Smart City (BSCL) and Energy Efficiency Services (EESL). The assignments are valued at Rs 6.2 crore.

Ashok Leyland’s subsidiary -- Switch Mobility Automotive (SWITCH) has bagged a contract for the supply and operation of 300 electric buses for Bengaluru Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC). The fleet and charging infrastructure will be supplied, operated and maintained by Switch for a period of 12 years on a Gross Cost Contract (GCC) Model under the FAME II Scheme. A gross-cost contract pays the operator a specified sum to provide a specified service for a specified period. Under this model, all revenue collected is for the authority.

PVR Cinemas has partnered with Kotak Mahindra Bank to launch first of its kind co-branded movie debit cards. The two companies already have two co-branded credit cards, currently used by close to 300,000 users.

Ugro Capital has entered into a co-lending partnership with State Bank of India (SBI) to provide credit to the micro, small and medium enterprises (MSME). Through this collaboration, SBI and Ugro aim to disburse upto Rs 500 crore by March 2022. This arrangement will leverage SBI’s prowess on the liability side and Ugro Capital’s origination and distinctive underwriting engine capabilities on the assets side.
