KNR construction gains on bagging an EPC order worth Rs 790.50 crore

KNR construction is currently trading at Rs. 121.50, up by 17.65 points or 17.00% from its previous closing of Rs. 103.85 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 109.95 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 121.50 and Rs. 109.95 respectively. So far 6,923 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 152.95 on 21-Feb-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 81.60 on 30-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 121.50 and Rs. 100.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 341.00 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 74.01% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 8.05% and 17.94% respectively.

KNR construction has bagged an EPC order worth Rs 790.50 crore from KNR Walayar Tollways for Four Laning of Walayar - Vadakkancherry Section in State of Kerala (Km 182/ 250 to Km 240/000 of NH-47) - Package NS-2/BOT/ KL-2 under NHDP Phases -II to be completed within 910 days from the Appointed Date.

KNR Construction is an infrastructure development company providing engineering, procurement and construction service across various fast growing sectors, namely, roads and highways, irrigation and urban water infrastructure management.
