Venus Power surges on getting approval for land acquisition

Venus Power Ventures is currently trading at Rs 13.90, up by 0.58 points or 4.35% from its previous closing of Rs. 13.32 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 13.90 and has gone flat after initial trading.

The BSE group 'B' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 26.70 on 18-May-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 6.39 on 22-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 13.60 and Rs. 11.02 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs 20.25 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 8.45 % while Non-Institutions held 91.55% stock in the company.

Venus Power Ventures (India) has received an approval to acquire 20 acres of land at Kollur, Medak district to develop, plotting, build houses and sell the property as it’s the part of the business. The board at its meeting held on November 29, 2012 has approved the same.
