Shriram City Union Finance has disbursed the highest ever loans amounting to Rs 1,022 crore for 1.6 lakh two-wheelers in November 2021. This is the second consecutive November when the company has crossed the Rs 1,000 crore disbursement mark. Followed by milestone of financing over one crore two-wheelers, the company is now the largest two-wheeler financer in the country, offering app-based lending, paperless receipt, and contactless loan.

Tata Power has collaborated with ama Stays & Trails, India's first branded homestay portfolio by Indian Hotels Company, to set up EV charging stations at over 30 of its villas and heritage bungalows across 11 destinations. The collaboration is a step forward in catering to the evolving needs of environmentally-conscious customers by reducing their travel carbon footprint and embracing a more sustainable future.

Canara Bank has successfully raised Basel III Compliant Additional Tier I Bonds, Series II. The bank came out with issuance of Rs 1500 crore of Additional Tier I bonds on November 30, 2021. The bank received total bid amount of Rs 4699 crore, out of which full issuance of Rs 1500 crore was accepted at 8.05%.

Sangam (India) is planning to invest Rs 137.25 crore for the expansion of its manufacturing facility in Bhilwara, Rajasthan. The total cost of the expansion project is funded partly by term loans of Rs 102 crore and balance Rs 35.25 crore by internal accruals. The move is aimed at increasing the capacity of their cotton yarn business by 47 per cent and knitted fabric business by 28 per cent.

Redington India’s step-down subsidiary -- Arena Bilgisayar Sanayi Ve Ticaret A.S. (Arena) has completed acquisition of 100% shares in Brightstar Telekomunikasyon Dagitim (Brightstar) on December 1, 2021. The cost of acquisition is $ 26.5 million. Brightstar Turkey’s operations primarily consist of value added distribution of leading brands of smartphones, devices, consumer electronics and accessories to telecom operators.

State Bank of India (SBI) has signed a master agreement with Adani Capital, the NBFC arm of Adani Group, for co-lending to farmers for purchase of tractor and farm implements, to increase efficiency in farm operations and productivity of crops. This partnership will enable it to target farmer customers in the interior hinterland of the country looking for the adoption of farm mechanization to enhance the productivity of crops.

Amrutanjan Health Care has unveiled a series of TV commercials for its Advanced Pain Relief body range featuring Olympic medallists Mirabai Chanu and Bajrang Punia. The company will roll out a series of films presenting weightlifting champion Mirabai Chanu and wrestling champion Bajrang Punia for its Advanced Pain Relief body range of products that include Back Pain Roll-On, Joint Muscle Spray, and Pain Patch.
