Pursuant to the Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015 (SEBI Listing Regulations), Gensol Engineering has informed that the members of the company have given their nod to a new business initiative in the Electric Vehicle (EV) space during 8th Annual General Meeting held on September 30, 2020. In line with this prognosis, the company has, till date, leased out a total of 181 EV Cars to reputed ride-hailing company operating its business in Gurugram, NCR and New Delhi regions. The Company has planned to add another 67 new EV Cars by the end of December 2021, while massive plans have been firmed up to add another 3000 EV cars to this fleet by the end of 2022.
