Tata Motors, NTPC and Wipro to see some action today

Tata Motors has reported a 50 per cent jump in total passenger vehicle sales to 35,299 units in December 2021. The company had sold a total of 23,545 units in the same month a year ago. In the third quarter ended December 2021, the company said its total passenger vehicle sales stood at 99,002 units as compared with 68,806 units sold the same period in the previous year, up 44 per cent.

NTPC is mulling acquiring 5 per cent equity stake in Power Exchange of India (PXIL) that provides various electricity trading options. The PXIL is India's first institutionally promoted power exchange, which has been providing various electricity trading solutions and connecting buyers as well sellers since 2008.

Wipro has completed acquisition of LeanSwift Solutions. Earlier, Wipro had signed a definitive agreement to acquire LeanSwift Solutions, a Florida, US headquartered system integrator of Infor Products whose service capabilities include ERP, e-commerce, digital transformation, supply chain, warehouse management systems, business intelligence and integrations.

Adani Enterprises has incorporated wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) namely, ‘Adani New Industries’ (ANIL), on December 30, 2021, with an Initial authorized and paid-up share capital of Rs 1 lakh each, to, interalia, undertake business of developing and operating projects for the synthesis of low carbon fuels and chemicals, generation of low carbon electricity and the manufacture of key components/ material for such projects including but not limited to generation of green hydrogen, related downstream products, electricity generation, manufacture of wind turbines, solar modules, batteries, electrolyzers, associated upstream manufacturing as well as ancillary industries and to undertake all such activities associated therewith in this regard. ANIL will commence its business operations in due course.

Aditya Ispat has successfully completed the trail Production of Unit II by late evening of December 30, 2021. The Commercial Production of Unit II is started from December 31, 2021. The Approximate production capacity of the Unit II will be 3000 Tons per annum, producing mainly Steel Wire Products and Fasteners.

Punjab National Bank (PNB) has received approval from board of directors to divest entire stake in India SME Asset Reconstruction Company (ISARC). ISARC has been incorporated on April 11, 2008 as an Asset Reconstruction Company (ARC). 

Cyient has signed definitive agreement with Innovation Communications Systems (ICS) to hive off the Software Design Radio (SDR) division of the company to Innovation Communications Systems. The company holds 23,42,869 equity shares which amounts to 15% shareholding of  ICS. The core team in ICS has extensive experience and has been working in communications technology for several years.
