Bajaj Auto has reported 3 percent fall in total sales to 3,62,470 units in December 2021 as against 3,72,532 in the same month last year. Exports of the company decreased by 7 percent to 2,16,491 units in the reporting month compared to 2,32,926 in the same month last year. However, total domestic sales increased by 5 percent to 1,45,979 units in December as compared to 1,39,606 units in December 2020.
Total two-wheeler sales were down 6 percent at 3,18,769 units as compared to 3,38,584 units in the year-ago month. However, Commercial Vehicles sales stood at 43,701 units in December 2021 as against 33,948 units in December 2020, registering a rise of 29 percent.
