Jet Airways gains on adding five ATR 72-600 series aircraft to its fleet

Jet Airways is currently trading at Rs. 544.50, up by 2.55 points or 0.47% from its previous closing of Rs. 541.95 on the BSE.

The scrip opened at Rs. 547.00 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 552.95 and Rs. 540.35 respectively. So far 287469 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 598.80 on 26-Nov-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 167.00 on 29-Dec-2011.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 590.00 and Rs. 505.25 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 4701.75 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 80.00% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 11.12% and 8.88% respectively.

 India’s premier International airline, Jet Airways has added five new state-of-the-art ATR 72-600 series aircraft to its fleet and in order to enhance regional connectivity. The ATR series, equipped with latest aviation technology, will commence operations between this month and March.

The entity has taken this aircraft on lease from international leasing firm GECAS and will replace the older ones whose leases have expired. This initiative will provide an enhanced connectivity into Tier II and III cities and towns across the country.
