Reliance Infrastructure trades in green on the BSE

Reliance Infrastructure is currently trading at Rs. 507.95, up by 7.05 points or 1.41% from its previous closing of Rs. 500.90 on the BSE.

Reliance Infrastructure opened at Rs. 504.05 and has touched a high and low of Rs. 510.00 and Rs. 491.60 respectively. So far 355790 shares were traded on the counter.

The BSE group 'A' stock of face value Rs. 10 has touched a 52 week high of Rs. 679.70 on 06-Mar-2012 and a 52 week low of Rs. 328.35 on 02-Jan-2012.

Last one week high and low of the scrip stood at Rs. 510.00 and Rs. 477.60 respectively. The current market cap of the company is Rs. 13329.40 crore.

The promoters holding in the company stood at 48.53% while Institutions and Non-Institutions held 36.53% and 14.43% respectively.

Reliance Infrastructure’s Mumbai Power Distribution has won the prestigious ‘India Power Awards 2012’ for Energy Efficiency Conservation and Demand Side Management (EEC & DSM).

The company effectively implemented EEC and DSM programme among power consumers through various platforms - Newsletter, Energy Bill, Energy Manager etc., as well as encouraged them to purchase Star rated energy efficient gadgets at discounted rates thereby sensitizing and educating them on energy conservation.

In the past, the company’s Dahanu Thermal Power Station had won the Maharashtra Energy Development Agency (MEDA) award for Excellence in Energy Conservation and Management in Thermal Power Station, consecutively for three years i.e. 2005, 2006 and 2008. This is the fourth energy conservation award that the company has won for the Mumbai distribution business.

Reliance Infrastructure is the largest infrastructure company developing projects, through various Special Purpose Vehicles; in several high growth areas in Infrastructure sector i.e. Roads, Metro Rail, Airports, etc. The Company is also leading utility company having presence across the value chain of power businesses i.e. Generation, Transmission, Distribution, EPC and Trading.
